International Day of Solidarity with the asylum seekers in Israel

Rome will join the world solidarity demonstration to sustain the march for freedom and peace that have been going on in Tel Aviv. The demands approached are to respect the asylum seekers and attend to their cases and grant them the necessary documents.

The safety of the asylum seekers and situation in Israel is getting worse . 

Hate campaigns are being incited and financed by right parties in the Israel government and politicians sustaining African  migrants to be "cancer to the Israeli State". The Knesset has not taken any decision regarding the 4000 African asylum seekers imprisoned in the new prison camps built specifically for the Africans "illegal migrants" Consider a threat to the nation, infiltrators form other governments to spay.
Rabis are calling Israeli people to refuse to rent rooms and apartments to these asylum seekers. They did hunger strike to get attention on their situation.
Journalists like David Sheen and Max Bluementhal have been monitoring the situation by making videos and twitting regularly the accidents of xenophobia towards the African migrants.
There are over 60,000 men women and children in Israel. African asylum seekers, being illegal detained in prison camps without having their cases reviewed first.
Eritreans for instance, flee for an endless military service, which i did too. I got lucky and had a medical discharge and was able to leave. Families dismembers because of these situations. Israel signers the human rights declaration and refugee status recognition after examination, so why has it put a halt to the process?
To hear the politicians, it would seem it is to stop Africans  from infecting the purity of the Jewish supremacy.
Over the last weeks they have been marching through Tel Aviv , in front of embassies an UNHCR, seeking protection, refugee status.

They demand the Government of Israel to:
1. Cancel the new amendment to the Prevention of Infiltration Law; stop all arrests; and release all asylum seekers and refugees from prisons.
2. Start respecting the rights of refugees and international law, including social rights, health and welfare benefits.
3. Check individual asylum claims in a fair and transparent way.

They didn't come to Israel to work, they came because they had to flee. "Now the world joins them, carefully watching to see Israels next step and the action the international community might take.
We are by their side. The world is watching, marching in solidarity in big cities around the world;Rome, NYC, Paris, Stockholm and many more.
